This dialogue on litigation and a bill of rights for nature will help Atlantic Canadians demand and benefit from a more holistic jurisprudence.<\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Albert Marshall, Tina Northrup<\/strong>, <strong>Sarah MacDonald<\/strong> and <strong>Pier-Olivier Boudreault<\/strong> will join Centre for Local Prosperity Host <strong>Gregory Heming<\/strong> for a one hour discussion followed by a 30 minute Q&amp;A session with the public.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/centreforlocalprosperity.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/AlbertMarshall.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4782\" width=\"200\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Albert Marshall<\/strong> is a highly respected and much loved Elder of the Mi\u2019kmaw Nation. Her areas of interest include Aboriginal and Indigenous law, human rights in the context of environmental and climate justice, and laws relating to climate change mitigation and adaptation.&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-image clearboth\"><figure class=\"alignleft size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/centreforlocalprosperity.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/SarahMcDonald.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4783\" width=\"200\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Sarah MacDonald<\/strong> is a staff lawyer with Ecojustice. She is a settler living and working in Kjipuktuk (Halifax). After working with the organization as both an articling student and summer student. His interest in conservation, protected areas and species at risk comes from his work experience at the Parks Canada Agency and non-governmental organisations in Canada and Latin America.\u00a0He works with governments, indigenous communities, citizen groups, industry and other environmental organizations to achieve CPAWS\u2019 vision to protect 50% of our wild spaces and create new protected areas. He has also worked as a freelance journalist and publishes his thoughts in various opinion forums.\u00a0He is also responsible for the campaign for the protection of the Magpie River at CPAWS Quebec, and coordinated the initiative for the recognition of the rights of the river in partnership with the International Observatory on the Rights of Nature and the Muteshekaushipu Alliance.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-image clearboth\"><figure class=\"alignleft size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/centreforlocalprosperity.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/DanFroese-1341-731x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-727\" width=\"200\" height=\"NaN\" srcset=\"https:\/\/centreforlocalprosperity.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/DanFroese-1341-731x1024.jpg 731w, https:\/\/centreforlocalprosperity.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/DanFroese-1341-214x300.jpg 214w, https:\/\/centreforlocalprosperity.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/DanFroese-1341-1080x1512.jpg 1080w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 731px) 100vw, 731px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Gregory Heming<\/strong> is a Co-founder of the Centre for Local Prosperity.&nbsp; He is a philosophical ecologist, writer, climate activist and former elected official.
