Pier-Olivier Boudreault<\/strong> est un biologiste professionnel, travaillant comme directeur de la conservation pour la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 pour la nature et les parcs du Canada \u2013 section Qu\u00e9bec (SNAP Qu\u00e9bec). Son int\u00e9r\u00eat pour la conservation, les aires prot\u00e9g\u00e9es et les esp\u00e8ces en p\u00e9ril provient de son exp\u00e9rience de travail \u00e0 l'Agence Parcs Canada et aupr\u00e8s d'organisations non gouvernementales au Canada et en Am\u00e9rique latine. Il travaille avec les gouvernements, les communaut\u00e9s autochtones, les groupes de citoyens, l'industrie et d'autres organisations environnementales pour r\u00e9aliser la vision de la SNAP de prot\u00e9ger 50% de nos espaces sauvages et de cr\u00e9er de nouvelles aires prot\u00e9g\u00e9es. Il a \u00e9galement travaill\u00e9 comme journaliste ind\u00e9pendant et publie ses r\u00e9flexions dans divers forums d'opinion. Il est \u00e9galement responsable de la campagne pour la protection de la rivi\u00e8re Magpie \u00e0 la SNAP Qu\u00e9bec, et a coordonn\u00e9 l'initiative pour la reconnaissance des droits de la rivi\u00e8re en partenariat avec l'Observatoire international des droits de la nature et l'Alliance Muteshekaushipu.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
